Philadelphia: Philadelphia Bourse, 1898. Pamphlet. 23 p.; 24 cm. Green wrapper with black wrapper title; stapled. Advertisement by the Bourse on the back wrapper for offices and exhibition space. With: a letter to the stockholders, dated May 16, 1898, urging them to subscribe for an additional $70,000 worth of stock and an unused subscription form. The Philadelphia Bourse was established in 1891 as a commodities exchange. The striking building, designed by G. W. & W. D. Hewitt and now on the National Register of Historic Places, was one of the first steel-framed buildings to constructed. It was a commodities exchange until the 1960s. Scarce.
