Approval leaf, which faces vol. 2 title page, is tipped in between frontispiece and vol. 1 title page. Final unpaginated page in vol. 1 contains advertisement "Books printed for and sold by C. Davis." A heavy set; for international shipping, it will have to be sent by priority international. In Good Condition: leather is rubbed and scraped; joints are cracked; vol. 1 front board is detached but present, some loss of leather; upper corner of vol. 1 title page cut off, removing former owner's name (not impacting title); old repair of frontispiece on back, with strip of 19th-century legal document; frontispiece is starting to separate along the other vold; occasional foxing and soiling; otherwise, clean and solid.
