Philadelphia: Lyric Theatre, 1925. [4] p.; 24 cm. Balieff's Chauve-Souris was a revue featuring primarily Russian songs, dances, and sketches, which began to tour in the United States in 1922. Much of the music is by staff composer Alexei Archangelsky. His connection to the Alexei Archangelsky (1846-1924) who is known as a composer of church music is unknown. Dances were choreographed by Boris Romanoff. Includes an advertisement for The Dance Box, a ballroom with a dining balcony, music by Art Coogan's Dance Box Band.
