The parade, consisting of 21 parts, was reviewed at the Union League by Gen. George Marshall, Maj-Gen. John B. Williams, Maj.-Gen. Walter S. Grant, and Maj.-Gen. Edward Martin. This publication includes a history of the 108th Field Artillery from its founding in 1840 as the National Guards of Philadelphia through its service in the First World War up to 1940.
