Watson (1856-1922) was a politician and writer from Georgia. While serving in Congress in the 1890s he was instrumental in passage of the legislation creating Rural Free Delivery. After 1900, he became increasing vocal in expressing his hatred of Blacks and Catholics. This pamphlet contains prime examples of many classic anti-Catholic myths, rumors, and lies. Very scarce. In Good Condition: front wrapper is detached but present; wrapper is lightly soiled; minor loss from edges of front wrapper; lightly creased; pages are clean and solid. Good. Item #009454
