Croasdale, a former city editor of the Wilmington Daily Commercial, which merged with Every Evening in 1877 to form Every Evening and Commercial. The name was changed to Every Evening, Wilmington Daily Commercial the following year. This issue (the first) features an excerpt from Harriet Beecher Stowe's Pink and White Tyranny in which she argues against making divorce easier to obtain. It includes the usual advertisements and commercial news. Scarce. In Very Good Condition: 2 closed tears crossing the center fold; otherwise, clean and solid. Very Good. Item #009575
