Wallace as a justice of the peace of North Township, Harrison County, Ohio, for three years on April 18, 1835. Signed on the front by Gov. Robert Lucas and Secretary of State B. Hinkson. Robert Lucas (1781-1853) fought in the War of 1812 and served in the Ohio legislature before serving as governor of Ohio from 1832 to 1836 and as governor of Iowa from 1838 to 1841. Benjamin B. Hinkson (1799?-1877) served in the Ohio House of Representatives before serving as Ohio Secretary of State from 1834 to 1836. In Very Good+ Condition: starting to separate at ends of some folds.
