Pamphlet to generate interest in a new "non-partisan, non-political, non-profit organization to arouse, stimulate, serve and satisfy the inherent desire of every loyal citizen of the United States to Deserve Democracy." A short-lived organization, it was connected with the National Broadcasting Corporation's radio program America's Town Meeting of the Air, which aired between 1935 and 1956. The goal of the National Neighborhood Congress was to extend the town meeting concept to every part of the United States to strengthen democracy.
