The story of Dallas Hudson, "the silent gunman from Texas," and Belle Stannon, "beautiful, fearless and wild," in the American West. The author, Vingie E. Roe (1879-1958), was an American novelist and screenwriter. She published over 30 novels; eight silent films and one sound film were based on her novels. Scarce. Book is in Good Condition: residue from tape used to attach dust jacket on boards and endpapers; minor soiling on a few pages; otherwise, clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Fair+ Condition: lacking section over spine; separating along back fold with loss; lightly soiled; closed 2-cm. tear from one edge of front and back sections; discoloration along edges.
