No date of publication; generally thought to have been published in the 1880s. Ex-library: bookplate on front fixed endpaper of the library of the Young Men's Christian Association of the City of New York from the Niblo Fund; call number written in white at tail of spine. Former owner's inscription on front free endpaper verso: "H. Louis Duhring," dated 1931. Duhring was an American architect based in Philadelphia. Text is in French. Scarce. A very heavy book; for international shipping, the U.S. Postal Service requires that it be shipped by priority/expedited shipping. In Good Condition: lacking some leather, in particular over spine; front board is largely detached; boards are rubbed and scraped; title page and a few other pages are foxed; a few plates have minor soiling in margins; otherwise, clean and solid.
