Bridgeport, Conn. James Youngs, 1884. Cards. 2 trade cards: #1 (11.4 x 6.3 cm.) with a color illustration on the front of a girl pouring tea at a table outdoors; the back contains an illustrated advertisement for Miss Parloa's New Cookbook, published by Estes & Lauriat. James Youngs, bookseller and stationer, became Youngs & Fairchild in 1885. #2 (5 x 9.3 cm.) is more of a business card with a color illustration of a young woman holding an umbrella; next to that is stamped: "G. H. Spring, Stationer, 679 Bedford Ave." The back is blank; there is no city named. In Good+ Condition: #1 is discolored on both sides with a scraped spot at the upper edge of the back; #2 is lightly soiled. Good +. Item #010374
