This number of Frank Moore's record of the American Civil War, issued during the conflict, consists of the final reports of the battle of Stones River, Tenn. (known as the Second Battle of Murfreesboro), which had begun at the end of no. 64 and continued through no. 65, along with reports on other events in the final months of 1862. The final 16 pages contain poetry and short items. Former owner's name stamped on blank side of frontispiece: A. L. Fluke.
