This number of Frank Moore's record of the American Civil War, issued during the conflict, consists of various reports on events in the final months of 1862, including the surrender of Holly Springs, Miss., and a speech by Jefferson Davis before the legislature of Mississippi. The last section contains poetry and short items of interest.
