Focht (1863-1937) served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1893 to 1897, the Pennsylvania Senate from 1901 to 1905, and the U.S. House of Representatives from 1907 to 1913, 1915 to 1923, and 1933 to 1937. He also founded the Lewisburg Saturday News in 1881 and was its editor until 1937. Includes a portrait of his father, the Rev. David Henlein Focht (1821-1864).
