Recipes reproduced from typescript onto several shades of color paper. Contains advertisements for Upper Darby businesses, including Blackstone Sweater Shop, which was in business in the 1930s and 1940s. In 2000 the Stonehurst Hills Methodist Church in Upper Darby, PA, merged with the Sellers Memorial United Methodist Church to become New Life United Methodist Church. Recipes include: pumpkin chiffon pie, shoo-fly pie, English bath bruns, pastel jelly frosting, frozen peanut brittle puddin, unbaked fruit cake, Dutch bake, lightning cake, Lincoln crisps, imitation chicken (made with veal), fried spinach balls, city chicken (made with pork and veal), Turkish eggs and rice, red salad, black pudding, chocolate bread pudding, and plum duff. The name of the woman who contributed each recipe is included. Scarce.
