Undated and uncaptioned photograph of the exterior of York Minster, possibly by James Valentine (1815-1879), who produced other albumen prints of York Minster. Inscription by former owner on back of mat. Albumen print is in Good+ Condition: the grass area in the lower portion of the image is scraped; otherwise, clean, bright, and intact. Mat is in Good- Condition: loss at corners and along edges; faint dampstain along lower edge; puncture near lower corner; lightly soiled; solid. Good +. Item #011873
