Unpaginated pages following text contain lists of books, maps, and views relating to the Counties of Northumberland and Nottinghamshire; and indices. Each section is paginated separately. Ex-library: two small handwritten spine labels; front fixed endpaper bears late 19th-century bookplate of Sage Public Library, West Bay City, Mich.; small circulation pocket on back fixed endpaper. The number "845" is faintly stamped at the foot of the the first page of text. Plates include views of: Anderson Place, Newcastle, (demolished in 1834); remains of Tynemouth Priory; Chipchase Castle; excavations at Sneinton, Nottinghamshire, sometimes called the Sneinton Hermitage Caves; a Saxon arch near Southwell church, Nottinghamshire; Radford Gate, Nottinghamshire; and Newstead Abbey (home of Lord Byron).
